The getKanban Board Game is a board game that has been developed with a view to demonstrate the ways Kanban can be applied for software development. The game is designed to be played in a workshop setting and is overseen by a facilitator. It is a highly effective and dare we say it, fun way to experience the benefits of Kanban.

The getKanban Board game is played in teams of four to six people with one game per team. Each team has a playing board that represents a Kanban board and a collection of story cards representing work to be completed. Teams compete to maximise net profit by optimizing the flow of work.
